Ratanakiri

Ratanakiri in Cambodia’s far northeast offers volcanic lakes, waterfalls, ethnic minority villages and a remote highland atmosphere. It is less visited than Siem Reap or the coast and suits travellers looking for off-the-beaten-path nature.

A private taxi to Ratanakiri is recommended because public transport is limited and journey times are long.
